A further six savings cooperatives with 65 branches are on February 1 to join the TakarékPont network, which is expected to expand from the current 320 branches to more than 400 by the end of this year, the Hungarian Savings Cooperatives Bank (TakarékBank) told MTI on Thursday.
TakarékBank's TakarékPont network offers uniform retail-banking products under the same brand name and logo across Hungary.
The number of branches that joined the network increased from 143 to over 320 over the past 18 months. On February 1, a further 6 credit institutions with 65 branches will join the 14 credit institutions already involved in the partnership, while a further 5-10 are expected to join by the end of the year.
In addition to current account packages and loan products, the standardized product now offered includes home savings, insurance and investment products. (MTI-ECONEWS)
