PSzÁF tells Cofidis to stop calling customers at numbers not contained in contract

Hungarian financial-market regulator PSZAF ordered Cofidis Magyaroszági Fioktelepe, the Hungarian branch of French consumer-credit provider Cofidis, to immediately stop attempting to contact customers at telephone numbers not contained in the company's credit contracts.

PSzÁF said the Cofidis unit had been calling a customer in an attempt to collect payments on a HUF 100,000 (€365) consumer loan at a telephone number not contained in the contract with the customer. (MTI – Econews)
