Financial market regulator PSZÁF on Tuesday said it fined K&H Bank HUF 15 million for opening a forint account for a client that did not request it.
PSZÁF cited K&H Bank for an incident in November, when a client placed an order with the bank to sell euro-based securities. Before converting the proceeds from the sale, bank staff realized the client had no active forint account and opened one, without a request from the client. (MTI-ECONEWS)
