Károly Salamon will take over as chairman-CEO of MKB Bank's life insurance and general insurance arms, from July 1, MKB Bank deputy-CEO Imre Balogh said on Monday.
Salamon will replace Zsolt Raveczky, who is leaving the bank to work for the insurance unit of Erste Bank.
Salamon was chairman-CEO of the insurer Allianz Hungária between 2006 and 2008.
MKB Bank and the insurance units' other owner, Versicherungskammer Bayern Group, are raising capital in the companies by €26 million, of which €8 million-€10 million is still to be injected, Balogh said, answering a question. The money will be used by the end of 2011, he added. (MTI-ECONEWS)
