Assets in Hungarian investment funds edged down 1.1% to HUF 3,795 billion in June from a month earlier, the Association of Hungarian Investment Fund and Asset Management Companies (BAMOSz) told MTI on Monday.
Net sales of units came to HUF 23.6 billion by the end of the month and the funds had a negative yield of HUF 17.2 billion.
Assets in open-ended securities funds fell 0.9% on withdrawals of HUF 14.3 billion and a HUF 4.4 billion negative yield.
Assets in share funds slipped 2.5% to HUF 348 billion, mainly because of price changes and the closing of one fund.
Bond fund assets inched up 0.4% to HUF 310 billion.
Money market funds dipped 0.7% to HUF 1,349 billion as investors took out HUF 13.8 billion but yields came to HUF 4.2 billion.
Guaranteed funds had assets of HUF 414 billion at the end of June, down 1.3% as more funds closed than were started.
Property funds had HUF 432 billion of assets at the end of the month. Investors sold HUF 1.8 billion of units but yields were HUF 1.9 billion.
