Genertel, insurer Generali's unit for telephone and online sales, had 96,000 mandatory vehicle insurance policy holders at the end of last year generating annual revenue from premiums of HUF 3.1 billion to give it 1.8% market share, Genertel told MTI.
Genertel signed with 40,000 new mandatory vehicle insurance policy holders in November, the only month car owners can change insurance providers, making its campaign the third most successful. Genertel signed another 6,000 policies for newly purchased cars in Q1, which will raise its annual revenue from premiums to HUF 3.6 billion.
Genertel recently started selling comprehensive vehicles insurance policies. (MTI – Econews)
