Home savings bank Fundamenta-Lakáskassza's Q1-Q3 after-tax profit rose 85% to HUF 1.28 billion from the same period a year earlier, the bank told MTI.
Fundamenta-Lakáskassza's ROE during the period was 28.2%. Its cost-to-income ratio was 54.4%, down from 68.2% in the same period a year earlier.
The bank signed 5,300 new loan contracts in Q1-Q3, 39% more than in the same period a year earlier. It had more than 593,000 contracts with a combined value of HUF 1,202 billion at the end of September. The bank had 43,000 lending contracts for layouts of HUF 22.9 billion.
Fundamenta-Lakáskassza had the tenth most deposits among Hungarian banks, according to biannual data compiled by the Interbank Database.
Fundamenta-Lakáskassza's investment stock reached HUF 200 billion in November. About 80% was invested in government securities. (MTI – Econews)
