The Budapest Stock Exchange fell nearly 1% by noon on Wednesday, declining with blue chip peers throughout Europe.
The main BUX index went into afternoon trade at 22,928 on a turnover of HUF 3.88 billion.
The four blue chips stood as follows at Wednesday noon:
Oil and gas company MOL was down 2.77% at HUF 22,450 on a turnover of HUF 1.49 billion.
OTP Bank was down 0.69% at HUF 5,889 on a turnover of HUF 1.7 billion.
Magyar Telekom was down 0.35% at HUF 572 on a turnover of HUF 215 million.
Drugmaker Richter was up 1.13% at HUF 35,700 on a turnover of HUF 302 million.
