The Budapest Stock Exchange closed Wednesday trade slightly higher, with the blue chip BUX index rising 0.3% to 22,539 on a light summer turnover of HUF 10.3 billion.
The BUX see-sawed in a narrow band, between an intra-session low of 22,448 at 12:15 pm and high of 22,597 at 2:20 pm.
The four blue chips stood as follows at Wednesday's closing bell:
Magyar Telekom rose 0.7% to HUF 584 on a turnover of HUF 1.63 billion.
OTP advanced 0.6% to HUF 5,785 on a turnover of HUF 4.16 billion.
Oil and gas company MOL fell 0.2% to HUF 21,200 on a turnover of HUF 4 billion.
Drugmaker Richter trimmed 0.1% closing at HUF 36,250 on a turnover of HUF 322 million.
