Bourse suspends trading in Graphisoft until August 21

The Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT) suspended trading in the shares of architectural software company Graphisoft SE for the three trading sessions between August 17 and August 21 at the request of the issuer before the expected court registration of Graphisoft Park SE, a real estate company spun off from Graphisoft, the BÉT announced late on Wednesday.

Graphisoft shareholders approved on June 29 a proposal to separate the company's real estate activities from its software activities and place them in a separate company. Graphisoft requested the suspension as the exact date of the registration is not known, which does not ensure the transparency of trading in the shares. The registration of the change will, however, significantly affect the price of the shares.
Graphisoft reported after-tax profit of €3.91 million in the first half of 2006, up from losses of €446,000. First-half revenue increased 23% year on year to €14.35 million in its IFRS consolidated audited H1 report released last week.
