Voltwerk to set up wind farm in Rém

German alternative power plant constructor and operator Voltwerk AG decided to invest Ft 50 billion in building a wind mill park in Rém, south Hungary, the town's municipality told business daily Napi Gazdaság. The construction of the 25 windmills, with 10 Mw capacity each, is planned to be finished by 2008. The Hamburg-based company also plans to establish several biomass power plants in Hungary and is looking for biomass producers to contract them long-term.
