Hungarian grid operator Mavir Zrt and Elektromreza Srbija (EMS), its Serbian counterpart, have agreed to organize daily, monthly and annual auctions for cross-border electricity trade, Bloomberg reports, citing the Serbian company.
Under the agreement signed by the two companies, long-term auctions for 100% of available cross-border capacity” will be organized by EMS, while allocation of daily capacity will be organized by Mavir. The first yearly auction will be held on December 6, EMS said, who also announced the calendar of auctions for 2011, the news agency said. (Bloomberg)
