Öko-Line Kft’s biodiesel plant near Bábolna (north-west Hungary) will boast the largest production capacity in the country with an initial annual output of 25,000 tons, the company’s business development manager Gergely Novák explained.The factory is scheduled to start off in May, and Öko-Line Kft hopes to double the annual output from 2008, Novák added. The company plans to sell biodiesel to Hungarian Railways MÁV, long-distance bus operator Volán Zrt and Budapest Transportation (BKV) Zrt as well as other partners. Öko-Line was set up in 2003 by construction companies Kész Kft and Resonator Kft, each with a 50-50% share. (Magyar Hírlap)
