Energy minister Peter Hónig informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of Hungary's plans to expand the country's only nuclear power plant, in Paks, at a general meeting of the agency in Vienna on Monday.
Hónig also reported on other matters to the IAEA, saying spent fuel rods used in the Budapest Research Reactor had been successfully brought back to Russia. (MTI-ECONEWS)
