A HUF 350 million plant that will convert farm waste into heating pellets will be built in Baja, János Dóczi, managing director of project company Gerecsehő Térségi Fűtőmű, told MTI on Thursday.
The pellets will be used to heat public institutions in the area, reducing heating costs by one-third, Dóczi said.
The Hungarian Regional Development Holding Company is expected to cover half of the cost of the investment. (MTI-ECONEWS)
