The Hungarian unit of German utilities giant E.ON has put 3.3 billion cubic meters of gas into stores in Hungary, E.ON Hungária spokesman István Kutas told MTI.
E.ON Földgáz Storage's gas stores currently have capacity for 3.7 billion cubic meters, but this will soon rise to 4.3 billion after another 600 million cubic meters of capacity at the storage facility in Zsana (SE Hungary) is completed. E.ON is spending HUF 35 billion to expand the facility which currently has capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters.
