A Ukrainian delegation will leave for Brussels on Monday to hold the talks on Ukraine's entry bid in the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
During the upcoming Brussels talks on January 14-20 the Ukrainian delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Valery Pyatnitsky, will negotiate a possible timeline of Ukraine's accession in the WTO that the Ukrainian president and prime minister earlier set, Ukrainian Minister of Economic Affairs Bogdan Danilishin earlier said.
Meanwhile, the minister noted that Ukraine fulfilled almost all commitments for the country's accession to the WTO and is negotiating the last problem - export customs duties with the European Union, Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. “We have no disagreements on Ukraine's accession process in the WTO,” Danilishin added.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko earlier said Ukraine might enter the WTO before March 2008. In early December 2007 the WTO delayed Ukraine's entry bid in the WTO, as the problem of export customs duties with the EU was not settled. (Kazinform)
