Hungary's trade deficit was €266 million in March, €143 million more than in same month a year earlier, according to preliminary figures published by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on Wednesday.
The three-month trade deficit of €676 million was €163 million up from the same period last year.
Exports were €4.981 billion in March, up 20.1% from the same month a year earlier. Three-month exports rose 18.5% to €13.261 billion.
Imports were €5.246 billion, up 22.9% year on year in March, and amounted to €13.937 billion in three months, 19.1% more than in the same period last year.
