Railway workers union VDSzSz will hold a strike in solidarity with the staff of Budapest public transport company BKV, union chief István Gaskó told MTI on Monday.
The start of the strike will be announced later, Gaskó said. The strike will concentrate on rail service around the capital, but it will affect travelers across the country, he added.
BKV unions have threatened to go ahead with an open-ended strike planned to start on Tuesday if their demands are not met. (MTI-Econews)
