Almost 50% of Poles, Czechs and Slovaks fear that the world crisis will affect their families’ future, according to the results of a poll released by CBOS on Thursday.
Forty-eight percent of Poles, 49% of Czechs and 46% of Slovaks believe that the current crisis will adversely affect their life, Polish news agency PAP quoted the poll results as saying.
Twenty-three percent of Polish residents, 26% of residents of the Czech Republic and 34% of Slovakia’s residents admit they have already felt the effects of the recession.
However, almost 23% of Poles, 17% of Czechs and 12% of Slovaks think that the crisis "will rather have no influence" on their situation.
The survey was conducted in March on a sample of 979 Poles, 1,029 Slovaks and 1,086 Czechs. (Xinhua)
