The data on the GDP growth in the Q2 of 2007 published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) on Thursday show that the Polish economy is growing stronger, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Zyta Gilowska said Thursday.
GUS reported that the GDP grew by 6.7% in the Q2 of 2007, against 7.4% in the Q1 of 2007 and 6.0% in the Q2 of 2006. “The structure of this growth is very favorable as there is a very high investment growth,” Gilowska was quoted by PAP news agency. And this means that the economy is developing fast, she added. According to Gilowska, the GDP growth should exceed 6% in the entire year. (peopledaily.com.cn)
