Hungary’s Parliament approved the main figures of the 2011 budget with a vote of 249:83 and no abstentions.
The figures show budget revenue of HUF 13,151.2 billion and budget expenditures of HUF 13,838.6 billion for a deficit of HUF 687 billion.
A line for “extraordinary government measures” replaces general reserves and comes to HUF 90 billion in the budget.
The Pension Fund will break even on revenue of HUF 3,074 billion. Originally, the fund was to have had revenue and expenditures of HUF 3,085 billion.
The Health Insurance Fund is set to take in revenue of HUF 1,370 billion and record expenditures of HUF 1,459 billion, leaving it with a HUF 88.6 billion deficit, down from 98.1 billion in the original draft. (MTI – Econews)
