Over 5,000 visit Hungary's inoculation centres in first two days

Over 5,000 people visited Hungary's new facilities to have their new flu shots during the first two days since their opening, the Health Ministry told MTI on Tuesday.

The first 29 inoculation centers across the country were opened on Friday. Hungarian health authorities declared a flu epidemic on November 18, when the weekly number of patients reporting flu symptoms to doctors had reached 22,000. About one third of 340 samples taken tested positive for H1N1. So far, seven people have died of the new flu infection. (MTI)
