The National Economy Ministry is working on the budget guidelines and plans to submit the draft budget for 2011 to the government by October 15, ministry officials told MTI.
The government has until October 31 to submit the budget bill to parliament.
Econews reported earlier that the government's autumn agenda, published in the official gazette Magyar Közlöny, put the discussion of the 2011 budget at a cabinet meeting on October 27, later than the respective October 15 deadline under a recent amendment of the Act on General Government. The National Economy Ministry then told Econews that it will in all likelihood submit the draft budget to the government earlier than October 27. (MTI – Econews)
