Hungary's maize harvest has been slowed because of wet fields, but farmers are still expected to bring in about 7 million tonnes, József Vancsura, head of grain growers association GOSZ, told MTI on Friday. The maize harvest is expected to last through November and possibly into December, Vancsura said. Hungarian farmers harvested about 7.5 million tonnes of maize in 2009. (MTI-Econews)
