London analysts put Hungary’s inflation at 4.5% for last month

Hungary's inflation rate accelerated to about 4.5% last month, according London market analysts, who said rising food and fuel prices continue to be main upward driving force on inflation. According to a poll of analysts at eight major financial firms, Hungary's inflation rate was probably at about 4.4%-4.6% last month, compared to 4.2% a month earlier. 4cast said the country's annual inflation rate in 2010 may have reached 4.9% and will remain significantly higher that the government's 3% target.
