The economy minister has recalled the head of the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Agency (ITD Hungary) György Rétfalvi based on the results of an investigation by the Government Review Office (KEHI) that put his competence in question, the ministry told MTI on Monday.
Rétfalvi was recalled from his post effective immediately and will not receive any severance pay, the ministry said.
The ministry would not reveal any further details about the investigation - which the ministry announced in September - when asked by MTI.
Index.hu reported earlier that a company owned by a former business partner of Rétfalvi won a HUF 300 million ITD Hungary tender, although the contract was never signed because of a reallocation of funding. (MTI-Econews)
