Hungary's international reserves stood at €32.86 billion at the end of February, up €289 million in a month after rising €1.895 billion on a $2 billion sovereign bond issue in January, preliminary National Bank of Hungary (MNB) figures published on Friday show.
The reserves were €2.184 billion higher than at the end of December 2009, and rose €7.955 billion from a year earlier.
In dollar terms, Hungary's international reserves stood at $44.674 billion at the end of last month, down $813 million from the end of January when they rose $1.31 billion from the end of December.
Dollar-term reserves at the end of February were $497 million higher than at the end of December and were up $13.125 billion in twelve months. (MTI-ECONEWS)
