Hungarian investment funds and assets managers held HUF 9,200 billion for institutional investors at the end of Q2, 3.96% more than three months earlier, the Hungarian Association of Investment Funds and Asset Managers (BAMOSz) said on Tuesday.
Assets of investment funds managed by BAMOSz members rose 4.94% to HUF 3,510 billion. Assets managed for pension and health funds came to HUF 3,609 billion. The pension and health funds drew about 95 billion in fresh capital in Q2.
Assets managed for insurers came to HUF 1,677 billion at the end of Q2, including HUF 652 billion of unit-linked products. These products drew HUF 7 billion-10 billion in fresh capital in Q2.
Assets managed for private individuals, organizations, local councils and foundations came to HUF 404 billion at the end of Q2, a small fraction less than three months earlier. (MTI-Econews)
