Hungary's industrial output rose by a seasonally and working day-adjusted 1.3% in January from December 2005 and was up by a working-day adjusted 11% in twelve months, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Monday, confirming preliminary figures published on March 8.Output rose by an unadjusted 13.7% year-on-year in January, also unchanged from the preliminary figure. Industrial export sales volume rose by a sharp 4.1% from December to January according to seasonally- and working day-adjusted figures, and increased a working day-adjusted 18.3% year-on-year. Domestic sales volume decreased 0.2% in a month in January and rose 5.5% year-on-year according to adjusted figures.
Industrial output rose 7.3% last year. Export sales increased 11.1% and domestic sales were up 4.4% year-on-year in 2005.
