Hungary's industrial output rose an unadjusted 3.4% and a workday-adjusted 5.7% in the twelve months to January, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in a second reading on Wednesday.
The figures were unchanged from the first reading published on March 9. In December, twelve-month industrial output rose an unadjusted 1%, but fell an adjusted 1.2%.
Export sales climbed an unadjusted 13.4% and an adjusted 16.3%. Domestic sales fell an unadjusted 12.6% and an adjusted 10.6%. The unadjusted drop in domestic sales accelerated from a 9.9% decline in December, but the adjusted fall slowed from 11.3% in the previous month.
In a month-on-month comparison, output rose a seasonally- and workday-adjusted 8.8% as exports climbed 7.4% and domestic sales increased 2.6%. (MTI-Econews)
