Hungary-Ukraine bilateral trade exceeds $2 bln in 2010

The value of bilateral trade between Hungary and Ukraine again exceeded $2 billion in 2010, Ukraine's ambassador to Hungary Yuri Mushka said in Nyíregyháza.

Ukrainian figures show trade between the two countries came to $2.07 billion in 2010, said the ambassador, who was in Nyiregyhaza for talks with mayor Ferenc Kovács and county chief Oszkár Seszták on strengthening cross-border relations.

The ambassador said bilateral trade was down from $3 billion in 2008 because of the crisis, but started growing again in 2010.
