Industrial producer prices in Hungary rose 8.1% in the twelve months to December 2010 after a 8.2% yr/yr rise in November, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Monday. Industrial producer prices rose 4.5% yr/yr in 2010 from 2009 as domestic sales prices rose 7.3% and forint-term export prices rose 1.9%.
Industrial producer prices fell from a year earlier in January-April 2010, and rose at an increasing rate up to 9.0% in August before their rise slowed until October.
In a month-on-month comparison, producer prices were unchanged after rising 1.5% in November, which followed monthly declines in the previous three months.
December domestic sales prices rose 10.9% yr/yr after climbing 10.8% in November. In a month-on-month comparison, domestic sales prices were up 0.1% after rising 1.2% in November.
Export sales prices rose 5.5% in twelve months as they did in November. Export sales prices fell 0.1% on the month in December after rising 1.7% m/m in November. (Econews)
