Industrial producer prices in Hungary rose 7.0% in the twelve months to January 2011 after an 8.1% yr/yr rise in December 2010, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said.
In a month-on-month comparison, producer prices were unchanged now for the second month in a row after a 1.5% rise in November and monthly declines in the previous three months.
January domestic sales prices were up 9.6% yr/yr after climbing 10.9% in the twelve months to December. In a month-on-month comparison, domestic sales prices were up 0.6% in January after rising just 0.1% in December.
Export sales prices rose 5.2% in forint terms in twelve months after rising 5.5% in December. Export sales prices fell 0.4% on the month after dropping 0.1% in December.
Industrial producer prices rose 4.5% yr/yr in 2010 from 2009 as domestic sales prices rose 7.3% and forint-term export prices rose 1.9%.
