November output rose a seasonally- and workday-adjusted 4.3% from October. The rise was the biggest one since May and followed a revised 0.9% monthly drop in October.

The twelve-month rise picked up from a 8.3% unadjusted and workday-adjusted rise in the twelve months to October.

January-November output was up 10.5% from a year earlier.

Industrial output declined 17.7% last year after no change in 2008. The last growth year was 2007 with an increase of 7.9%.
