The number of new vehicles registered in Hungary rose 2.8% to 4,647 in November from the same month a year earlier, according to statistics compiled by Datahouse. The number of new registrations was up from 4,046 in October. In January-November, the number of new vehicle registrations increased 14.7% to 48,014 from the same period a year earlier. The number of light commercial vehicles fell 30% to 951 in November but edged up 0.7% to 9,867 in January-November. Opel led the new car market in Hungary in November, with 949 vehicles registered, 78% more than in the same month a year earlier. Skoda was runner-up, with 422 vehicles registered, followed by Suzuki with 356. Opel was market leader in January-November too, with 5,897 vehicles registered. Ford and Skoda followed with registrations of 4,658 and 4,573, respectively.
