Hungary's international reserves stood at €34.857 billion at the end of May, up €637 million in a month after rising €367 million in April, preliminary National Bank of Hungary (MNB) figures published on Monday show.
The reserves were €4.181 billion higher than at the end of December 2009, and rose €8.195 billion from a year earlier.
In dollar terms, Hungary's international reserves stood at $42.8677 billion at the end of last month, down $2.690 million from the end of April as the dollar firmed against the euro.
Dollar-term reserves at the end of May were $1.301 billion lower than at the end of December and were up $5.492 billion in twelve months. (MTI-Econews)
