Hungary gov't to suspend or renegotiate PPP projects, PM Orbán says

The Hungarian government will not launch any new PPP projects and will renegotiate those which are already underway, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced as part of the government's second economic action plan on Wednesday.

The government will suspend those PPP projects which were not yet started.

The government will also suspend payments to private pension funds beginning November 1 till the end of 2011, the PM said, speaking at an event organized by the Szell Foundation. (MTI-Econews)
