The number of active mobile subscriptions in Hungary fell by 61,000 to 10,861,000 in March from the previous month, the national communications authority NHH said on Wednesday.
The number of active subscriptions was up from 10,802,000 twelve months earlier.
The total number of mobile phone subscriptions, both active and inactive, was flat at 11,883,000 in March compared to the previous month. The number was down from 12,112,000 twelve months earlier.
The number of mobile phone subscriptions per hundred people was 118.7 in March. The indicator peaked at 121.8 in December 2008.
In terms of active subscribers, T-Mobile's market share rose to 44.31% in March from 44.29% in February. Pannon's share dropped to 32.98% from 33.04% and Vodafone's shares slipped to 22.71% from 22.75%. (MTI-Econews)
