The number of active mobile subscriptions in Hungary fell by 45,000 to 10,816,000 in April from the previous month and down 117,000 from a year ago, the National Communications Authority (NHH) said on Tuesday.
The total number of mobile phone subscriptions, both active and inactive, rose 15,000 to 11.898 million in April.
The total number of subscriptions rose 105,000 in Q1, while the number of SIM-cards in circulation dropped 115,000 in the same period.
The number of mobile phone subscriptions per hundred people was 118.9 in April, down from 119.6 in April 2009.
In terms of active subscribers, T-Mobile's market share rose to 44.42% in April from 44.32% in March. Pannon's share dropped to 32.96% from 32.98% and Vodafone's shares slipped to 22.62% from 22.71%. (MTI-Econews)
