Hungarian companies see business risk declining, according to a survey by economic research company GKI.
GKI's fresh risk index, a measure or risk perceptions based on a survey of 1,200 managers, is at -19 points for big companies and at -13 points for mid-sized companies, both big improvements from earlier.
The index gauges risk on a scale of -100 to +100 with the plus end of the scale showing increases in risk.
Managers are asked to assess risk in the areas of payments on invoices, overdue receivables and bankruptcies.
Big companies offering economic services showed a better-than-average improvement in risk assessment, while the assessment at energy sector companies improved under the average and worsened at construction companies.
