Hungarian business confidence fell to minus 10.9 in April from minus 7.9 points in March, the GKI Economic Research Co. said Tuesday. The index reached a 32-month low level in April.
At the same time, consumer confidence deteriorated to minus 55.4 in April from March’s minus 52.4. The assessment of consumers of their financial state, short time savings capabilities and expected unemployment improved in April compared to the previous month.
The GKI composite index is the weighted average of the consumer confidence index and the business confidence index. The index eased to minus 22.5 in April from minus 19.5 in the previous month. (RttNews)
