Hungarian metal-processing company Gerecse-Metal has completed a HUF 90 million machine-tool production hall at the company's plant in northern Hungary, company Managing Director Katalin Szente told MTI on Thursday.
Szente said that European Union funding had covered half the cost of the investment.
The company announced it December that it had finished a HUF 168 million project to develop and introduce to the market an expandable intermodal container that can be converted into a workspace.
Gerecse Metal, a family-owned business, employs 21 workers at the company's plant in Tatabanya. It had sales revenue of HUF 425 million in 2009. (MTI-Econews)
