Hungary's labor market watchdog OMMF has investigated over 300 employers since the new labor act easing employment rules was enacted in April this year and found two-thirds of them in contravention of some labor regulations, daily Napi Gazdaság reported, citing data by OMMF.
Most of the violations were related to failure by companies to register new employees with the authorities or inadequate keeping of time sheets.
A lot of companies have switched over to part-time employment instead of using temporary employment booklets, although many of them still register full-time staff for part-time in order pay less contributions. (Napi Gazdaság)
