Hungarian Finance Minister Péter Oszkó has signed deals on two credit schemes with Philippe Maystadt, head of the European Investment Bank (EIOB) in Luxembourg.
According to the contract the EIB will make available €350 million in grant money to finance projects realized with EU support. The EIB funding will be directed at the social infrastructure and social development chapters of the new Hungary development plan (ÚMFT).
According to newswire MTI, the current marks the conclusion of talks on a second batch of EIB grants following a similar arrangement concluded at the end of 2007. (Napi Gazdaság)
