National Economy Minister György Matolcsy has called a meeting of the National Interest Coordination Council (OÉT) - a body that includes representatives from employers, trade unions and the government - for September 20, the National Economy Ministry told MTI.
At the end of August, trade unions called for the gov't to call a meeting of the OÉT as it had been almost four months since the last one.
Under current legislation, new governments are to call a meeting of the OÉT within one month of their establishment. Hungary's new government was sworn in at the end of May. (MTI – Econews)
