EconMin state secretary says Montenegro is important strategic economic partner

Montenegro represents one of Hungary's primary strategic partners from an external-economic perspective, Ministry of National Economy Deputy State Secretary Balázs Botos said at a meeting of Hungarian and Montenegrin business people in Budva, Montenegro on Wednesday.
Botos, who was in Montenegro to attend the 32nd International Construction Industry Exhibition and Fair, remarked that Hungary aims to increase its exports to the western Balkans, including Montenegro, noting that at least 60% of Hungary's export trade is currently conducted with fellow European Union member states.
The ministry of national economy deputy state secretary in charge of international relations remarked that Hungary has remained the largest investor in Montenegro in terms of operating capital, with OTP Bank, Magyar Telekom and Hunguest Hotels all operating units in the country. (MTI-Econews)
