The council of European Union finance and economy ministers will assess Hungary's Convergence and Stability Programs, together with those of other member states, at a meeting on June 20, National Economy Ministry state secretary András Kármán told Parliament's European Affairs Committee on Monday.
The programs outline medium-term fiscal strategies.
Kármán told the committee Hungary would bring its general government deficit under 3% of GDP both this year and in the two years to follow.
