The local council of Szentendre, north of Budapest, has called a tender to build and operate a new cemetery in a concession in the latest issue of the public procurement gazette.
The city estimated the concession fee for the winner to be HUF 300 million if the cemetery is 12,000 square meters and HUF 695 million if a larger version with 16,000 square meters is built.
The tender announcement did not reveal how long the winner would hold the concession.
The deadline for bidding in the offer is March 5 and a winner is to be announced on March 19. (MTI – Econews)
