A case in the labor court seeking damages from Attila Kulcsár, a broker at the center of a HUF 23 billion embezzlement scandal at the brokerage of Hungary's K&H Bank, has been suspended until documents necessary for the trial are produced, K&H Equities, the plaintiff in the case, said on Thursday.
K&H Equities is seeking HUF 11.4 billion in damages from Kulcsár.
Kulcsár was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2008, but sentence was overturned after an appeal. He is currently under house arrest.
Documents the plaintiff wants to use to show Kulcsár intentionally caused the damages at the brokerage are still at the investigative authority and at the Budapest Municipal Court. (MTI-Econews)
